Graham Felton and John Sinclair's 50th Anniversary Ride

Another event in the chronicles of the intrepid motorcyclist enthusiasts Graham Felton and John Sinclair. Adding to their previous Around Australia Ride in 2004 (details here), and Graham's Kokoda Track Walk in 2006 (details here), the pair are now on their way around Australia.

Here are the details:

• the ride celebrates the 50th Anniversary of their epic 1958 ride around Australia on a 1942 Harley with side box
• it started in Sydney on Saturday,17th May 2008, and concludes back in Sydney on Sunday 20th July 2008
• the ride will incorporate the Ulysses AGM in Townsville in May
• basic route is: Sydney – Cairns – Mount Isa – Barkley Homestead – Cape Crawford – Darwin – Alice Springs – Adelaide – Melbourne – Sydney

AARF have prepared a coloured brochure to promote the 50th Anniversary Ride. The brochure gives some background to this event and, includes a donation form for anyone whishing to make a contribution to AARF. Download the brochure in pdf format here.

Sponsorship
Graham and John are also looking for sponsor to help meet some of the anticipated costs of the ride. Sponsorship will attract promotion of the logo and business name of the sponsor and, you will have the satisfaction of knowing that the ride will raise funds for research into age related dementia diseases.
