About AARF Funded Research
AARF supports research and education on healthy ageing and disorders associated with severe disabilities in older age.
The Centre for Education and Research on Ageing (CERA) undertakes this research and education role and collaborates with other Research Centres. The researchers and educators include staff of The University of Sydney and the Aged and Extended Care Department (AECD) staff of the Concord Hospital.
The major research themes are:

- Social Gerontology and Policy
- Clinical Geriatric Medical Research
- Pharmacology in Older People
